## Data & Signals

- All project metadata is sourced from the GitHub API and stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database.
- Stats (stars, forks, contributors) are refreshed periodically.
- The "Featured pick of the day" and "Featured contributor of the day" rotate deterministically by UTC day-of-year — every visitor sees the same featured item on a given day.
- Projects and contributors are browsable by language (primary_language), platform, license, and topic tags.
